I just upgraded to the latest version of Bridge CC (9.0.0.204). Now, when I do a batch rename of RAW files the sidecar files do not get renamed. Help!

Bridge Version: 9.0.0.204

MacOS: 10.14

I reset the preferences in Bridge as you requested. This did NOT fix the issue with CR2 and XMP files.

HOWEVER, using the MacOS Finder I moved the files into a newly created folder and now the Batch Rename function works properly.

So, for now this issue is fixed!

Thanks,

Steve

Hi artistsview,

Can you please reset preferences and try again.

  • Start Adobe Bridge and immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears.

  • Select all three options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Work spaces, and Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache--and then click OK.

If the issue persists, please let me know the format of the file that you are using as well as the OS that you are using.

Mac OS 10.14.2

Bridge 9.0.2

I also just updated my Adobe Bridge to 9.0.2 and when I open folder that have .xmp files in them from any previous versions of Bridge, when I try to batch rename or rename the files, the sidecar (XMP) files DO NOT rename automatically anymore.  HELP!
