Select any image (jpg, nef, tiff) > View > Full screen preview > right arrow key for next image. On changing slowly to view the next image and viewing it for 5 sec or more, the image is displays properly. On changing quickly, or very quickly, through the next 3-5 images, then stopping to view an image, the viewed image does not display properly; its brightness flickers and someimes its size flickers. Must restart Bridge to fix this. Tried purging the cache and relocating the cache, but neither solved the problem.
Bridge 13.0.0.562. Windows 11 Pro (22H2, build 22621.755). GeForce RTX 2060 (Studio driver 522,30).

I also just updated Bridge hoping it might resolve the flickering full screen preview issue but it's still happening. It's quite distracting and very frustrating that Adobe haven't addressed this. As a work around I'm using "Review Mode" (Ctrl+B on the PC). It's not full screen but it's a decent size preview if that helps.

Please see my post:
and the update of 12/9/2022
where a new GeForce driver solved these problems. I'm guessing that GeForce programmers know how to provide workaround solutions to Adobe code. Perhaps we should encourage other driver manufacturers to do the same.

I upgraded to latest drivers and did NOT see any improvement.

Same to me, with the 13.0. Flickering really annoying, hope Adobe can fix it very quickly! I've still installed the 12, waiting for the fix.

I have seen this problem much worse in 13.0 ++. I see it when using the full screen mode, after the first picture, Bridge starts updating the screen constantly. I can see the shadows of previous pictures which is causing the flicker as it constantly updates then cleans up to the current picture. I am using windows 10 and have found no solution also other than exit full screen mode, then go back in but only view one photo at a time. So full screen mode is only good for one picture at at time. Makes it very unproductive. Hoping for an Adobe fix since this occurs almost everytime I attempt to use full screen mode.

I got in touch with Adobe support and told them that I had already done everything they suggested to solve this problem and that it didn't work, but they insist that the problem is the user's system and not them!

It's definitely random in nature but also much worse with Bridge 13.x. I have been seeing it occur daily on my Windows based system. Just now tied to reproduce but could not get it to fail. I wish Adobe would reach out to user's and capture the information they need to resolve rather than just claim it's a user issue.

I have a similar problem but it only occurs on my laptop not on my PC. Both running lates versions of Win10 and latest versions of bridge. First image viewed is ok, second image ok, subsequent images flicker in brightness. No size change. Unusable for presentation purposes.

I have the same problem on 3 different Laptops (10 year old HP Elitebook, brandnew Gigabyte AERO and brandnew Huawei Matebook)! This is really annoying. I guess this problem exist already around 2 years when researching for "flickering" in this forum? I would say it is time to fix it asap...

Now I also have the problem on a brandnew DELL XPS 17 9720 with Nvidia GeForce 3060! Four different laptops (three brand new, one 10 years old, one with AMD graphics and processor, the others with Intel and Nvidia), all drivers up to date, Windows 10 on one laptop, Windows 11 on the others, ALL laptops have the same problem. So it is obvious that the problem is NOT the systenm, but Adobe! PLEASE FIX IT ADOBE!!

That's because there has not been an update since 13.0.1
Please hang on until the next update, ESPECIALLY if it says that that update should fix the flicker.

I discovered a workaround to fix the flicker issue. TURN OFF DISSOLVE under Transition Options (in the Slideshow Optoins dialog box). Once you do that, no more flicker. Was happening previously after 10-15 TIF images. Now, I have viewed 80 TIF images in a folder, went through all of them, NO FLICKER. Adobe needs to recognize this. IT IS NOT A USER ISSEU, as they seem to think. For everyone's information, I am running MacOS Ventura latest version and the latest versino of Bridge 2023, on a Mac Studio.

I tested it here, it takes a little longer to start blinking, but after a while it starts blinking again. I don't use the slideshow, I use the full screen view to select the images to be edited and this oscillation has greatly disturbed this selection work, making it almost impossible to do it in Bridge and Adobe insists that the problem lies with the user.

Same here. Absolutley obnoxious, irritating and slowing workflow. Running Macbook Pro M1 Max, Ventura 13.1, 64 gb RAM.
Adobe, you know this problem exists. Could you please do your loyal customers a favor and fix this severe problem so that we can get what we are actually paying you for? We would really appreciate it if you would fix this.

Thank you Bridge Team.
I have a suggestion that I hope you will pass to the Bridge support personnel. Please acknowledge the truthfulness of users' complaints rather than blaming users for problems with the software. That behavior will only strengthen the perception that Adobe is a company that respects and supports its customers.

Most of us are not Adobe employees and we have no access to their internal bug tracker. Also, some of us use Bridge daily and have never seen this issue so its difficult for us to know what is going on.
Software bugs usually start with reports and some people saying they see the problem, some don't, some have a "solution" which may or may not work, etc.
Its also pretty common for someone to self-diagnose a problem that either doesn't exist or is a user/configuration error.
Finally, once Adobe engineers have been able to reproduce a problem, they are pretty good about informing the community.
