Bridge 2023 "unknown error quitting application"

After Bridge 2023 was installed, it worked for a few hours and then I got the message, "Unknown error quitting application".    I have no other option than to hit "ok" and then Bridge is closed.  This goes on and on.  Lightroom Classic quit working in July 2022.  I have no access to my photographs.

What is your OS (and what release).

Do you have any auto-update settings on your computer that correlate to July 2022?

I got same problem today with Bridge - even after deinstall and reinstall newest version from Creative Cloud - I run Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1 - are there any solutions?

I turned to an Adobe helpdesk agent via the Creative Cloud dashboard to seek help in solving this issue.  In the end it appeared to be rather simple and a matter of setting the correct permissions for Adobe Bridge in Mac OS. Basically you have set all permissions to 'read&write';  it seems to be a flaw of either the new Bridge version or the nex Mac OS 13.x software that permissions are set incorrectly when installing new software.  If you cannot figure out yourself which files of Adobe Bridge you have to change (via cmd+i), turn to the chatbot in CC-dashboard and ask for an agent who will walk you through the process.

I asked this of @Nefferdun but never received an answer.

Folks, it is critical that when reporting events like this, share your OS (Operating System) and what release. In addition, verify what version of Bridge you are using (please do not assume anyone knows — they do not).

Also, please add anything that can help someone help you.

What you are doing is calling 911 and asking for help and then hanging up. No one can help you that way.

Even with the OS updated to the latest release AND multiple times "clean install of Bridge 2023" I experience the same problem as the poster above.   Far too many people are discussing this problem with B2023.  The best and only solution is to revert to the older version of Bridge.   Adobe knows this is a huge issue for far too many people.   I will be discussing this with Adobe one last time today and then done with the whole mess.   They simply need to fix this.

Exactly same here.  Is there a fix in the meantime?
