Bridge CS3-Upgrade-Where's "List View?"

Upgraded to Bridge CS3 2.0.0975 and now I can't find how to view files in "List View" mode. The only options are "As Thumbnails" and "As Details". What happened to the useful and convenient controls at the bottom of the window? Can we get that back?

It sounds like you were using a newer bridge and probably newer adobe applications than cs3, which came out in 2007.

As far as i know, List View was first in Bridge CS4.

About the closest you can get to List View in Bridge CS3 is to View>Details and shrink the thumbnails as small as possible

using the slider at the bottom right in Bridge CS3.

CS3 is so old that it is no longer updated OR available on Adobe's web site

Even trying to re-install from your original disc is not going to work, since the activation server has been removed from service

Hey- thanks for the quick reply- You are right, bridge CS3 is old. Here's a long story short... Last week I had a problem with Acrobat as it kept asking me to sign in, then close. So, on the phone with tech support for 4.5 hours with the very patient agent, we figured that the User was not cooperating. Experimenting with a new user: root, Acrobat was able to download and open. Since, I created another user and downloaded Illustrator, Photoshop, inDesign form there. I uninstalled all the old Adobe apps, and there were quite a few. What may have happened was Bridge CS3 may have been overlooked thinking it was the upgrade. I will look into that and will let you all know. The Mac currently is running on OS 10.12.6- as I am "afraid" to upgrade as it interupts my work flow trying to make things work again. Little things, like for instance, TextEdit dosen't allow me to save the doc I'm working on and trying to get mail working in the new user. Its Monday and about 2.5 days downtime so far.

Just a quick comment here. If you do plan on upgrading your Adobe applications, just about all of them require High Sierra (X.13.x) to run.

Yeah, I know how intimidating it is to upgrade your system not knowing what will work and what may not and all of the hassle that implies but if you have any interest in updating your Adobe applications to the current crop, your OS update is critical.

Also, if you do not update to High Sierra now, you will almost be forced to update to X.15.x and Catalina is currently creating havoc to various degrees for Adobe users. Also, any applications or plugins that are 32-bit will NOT run in Catalina.
