Bridge keeps adding XMP files, BUT only for images where "Generative Fill" had been used in PS
Hello,
I have a strange problem in Adobe Bridge (Version 14.1.1.274 on Windows 11) that I cannot seem to fix on my own:
- I have a bunch of JPG-images that have been processed in Photoshop, only a few of them have been processed using the "Generative Fill" tool in Photoshop
- after finishing, I select all JPG-files , right click on "file info" and append my saved metadata template from the template folder
- The metadata goes directly to the IPTC fields within the JPG files, BUT: for the few images that have been processed with "generative fill" in PS, Adobe Bridge keeps generating a XMP sidecar file
- When delete the XMP sidecar file and open the affected JPG in Photoshop and add the metadata template there via "File Info", the behaviour is as expected and PS stores the information directly in the JPG (without creating an XMP file).
How can I stop Adobe Bridge from creating these XMP files?
