Can Bridge CC create a list of files in .txt format ?

hi all,

i'd like to know if i can create a list of files in .txt format using Bridge CC

It could be a good way to verify the integrity of an external database.

Yes you probably could have Bridge create you some text file of a file list…

There are plenty of other tools that can do this for you too…?

hi mark,

actually i'm using a simple batch file i create to obtain list of files (dir command) in txt format.

but for me it is more simple if i can do it in bridge:

using stars or colors, i can create particular selections and it could be a good thing.

If you know aome methods to obtain list of files in bridge, i will really happy if you can help me.

Sure Bridge scripting is able to provide a list or files to a text file… These could be all the files from multi-browser windows or selection from one…

You would need to give more of an idea of what you are after…?

this is my situation:

i shoot a great number of items everyday.

So i have a db in excel format with the name of item, the shooting date and other informations about the files.

now, with my batch file, i create a list of file in specific folders (to work, worked, deliverde etc)

in this way i can comparate all files and i can update tha state of working in db file

if bridge could create a list, i can make this comparation faster.

this is the why of my question.

can you help me to create the opportune script in bridge?
