Make the content window scroll bar less thin

With the updated version 13, the content window is difficult to navigate because the scroll bar has become to thin)
It would be helpful to revert it back to its original size or to allow the user to customize it. 

(OS is Window 10 Pro)

    Hi Anna, I can't speak for Windows computers (I do not use one), but a similar complaint came up on the Mac side of things. This got me curious, so I set up a situation where I had Bridge, a browser, and MS Word aligned up to compare the actual widths. I could find no difference in widths in this situation. Can you please make a similar comparison and see if you do have thinner scroll bars for Bridge on the PC? I am curious.

    Hi Gary,

    Thank you for your note.

    I'm attaching an image that shows the Windows file manager scroll bar compared with the Adobe Bridge scrollbar.

    It's obvious that the Adobe Bridge scrollbar is thinner.

     

    However, I've also noticed that the scroll bar on the Capture One application is as thin as in Adobe Bridge, but it's not difficult to use, while the the Adobe Bridge scroll bar is slippery and it easily jumps to unwanted positions.

    Maybe the real issue is not the scrollbar size, but the way its response has been implemented.

      Yes, that certainly does look thinner.

       

      As far as the interaction dynamics, I suppose you might be correct that how it jumps around might be an issue.

       

      In the Mac universe. Apple controls a lot of that dynamics. I know there is a playbook where such options as thickness, location, and interaction are all spelled out for the applications to follow. I would have thought that the same goes for the PC universe as well, but I have no knowledge of that.

       

      The only thing I can think of is registering a comment at https://adobebridge.uservoice.com/ and letting Adobe be aware of your observations.
