Hi there, I'll help you figure this out. I'll need more info.

Where are the images stored & what is the destination of this action? On the internal drive or an external drive? Does this happen with a specific set of files?

Ensure Adobe Bridge has the required permissions on the macOS: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/quick-tips-learn-how-to-give-full-dis...

If the files & folders in question are based on an external drive, try this:

  • Search for Disk Utility from Finder's spotlight search or magnifying glass.
  • Run 'First Aid' diagnostic on the external drive. Check this to learn more: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210898
  • Restart the computer.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Hi,

The problem images were coming from a card and going to an external drive.  I tried a CF card and an SD card that had the same images on them.  I also tried two different card readers, as well as two different external drives and then tried on my laptop after having tried on my desktop.  Still same problem.

I had already done the disk utility step you suggested as well.

Strangely enough finder was having a similar problem transferring the files, but now isn't having that problem anymore.  Bridge still took 44 minutes to transfer 100 files in a test I ran the other day.  It was 6.18gb of information in total.Finder took under 5 minutes to transfer the information.  Bridge has been completely buggy ever since this update.  Sometimes I can't even see the file names under some of the images.

I scheduled a callback with Adobe but they never called.
