unable to edit in Bridge

Please help, I have a heavy Holiday load of RAW images to edit ASAP.
This appeared when I tried to open Camera Raw

"Bridge activation status cannot be determined (ATM Failure)"

I'm an artist not a geek, I have no idea what that means or how to fix the problem

Ok, then if the above suggestions do not work, uninstall and reinstall photoshop and bridge .

Have your install dvd rom and serial number ready.

What version of Bridge is it? Are you using Windows or Mac?

Besides Bridge, what other Adobe products do you own? Photoshop or Lightroom? Bridge needs a qualifying product to work. You would launch that first.
