What solution are people implementing to get around inadequate Contact Sheet?

Hi, I was a big fan, and frequent user, of Contact Sheet II in Bridge/Photoshop CS5 and previous versions. It gave me the option to create a page header, and it combined multi-page PDFs automatically into one document. Since "upgrading" to CS6 these Contact Sheet features no longer exist, and because I have hundreds of photos I need to create contact sheets for - I need to find a solution.

What are you using to replace the formerly glorious Bridge/Photoshop Contact Sheets?

Or, if Adobe has come to their senses, how do I go about fixing this problem on my installation?

I look forward to your response!

(For Photoshop CS6, NOT CC)

Well it all depends on your OS, IF you are using Windows then you are in luck. You can use the CS5 Optional Plug-Ins

Downloadable plug-ins | Photoshop CS5

Don't forget to rename/delete the Contact SheetII.jsx in the application presets/scripts folder!

If you are using a Mac you are out of luck as this will not work!

Hi All,

We have released a new version of Adobe Bridge (CC 2018) on 18 Oct 2017. The new version build number is 8.0.0.262. This version is available to install via Adobe Creative Cloud application.

This Bridge update contains Native PDF Output in application to generate PDF contact sheets. Please check the Output workspace after installing new version of Bridge CC.

Please refer https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/using/output-module-pdf-contact-sheet.html.

You may need to update the Creative Cloud application and restart your computer to see the updated installer.

You can check all new features at https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/using/whats-new.html (or from Bridge Application -> Help Menu -> What’s New…)

Thanks,
