Why doesn't Bridge 2023 create thumbnails for HEIC files on Windows 11?

I've said 2023 and Windows 11, but this issue has been happening for years.

Yes, I have HEIC codec installed from the Microsoft Store.

 

The files open fine in Photoshop.

 

Please help. I used to love Bridge, but as an iPhone user, it's completely useless and frustrating.

I have the latest versions of everything as delivered by CC Desktop.

    We are happy to announce the release of new Adobe Bridge 2025 Beta build(Version 15.0.0.328). This release has support for .HEIC and .HEIF image file format with some other fixes.
