Hi there,

Sorry that you're cannot launch Bridge on your Mac running the macOS Big Sur.

Please note that only the Bridge 11.x is compatible with macOS 11 (Big Sur) so if you have not updated to the latest version of Bridge, please checkout this article to keep your apps updated.

To troubleshoot, restore the Bridge app preferences to see if the app loads correctly:

  • Start Adobe Bridge and immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift Command+Option+Shift until the Reset Settings dialog box appears.
  • Select all three options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces, and Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache--and then click OK

There are some known issues with Bridge 11.x on macOS Big Sur, see: https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/bridge-and-macos-big-sur.html#IsBridgecompatible

Thanks,

Akash

Hi Akash,

What are the keystrokes required to reset Preferences.  I don't have an Alt key on my Mac keyboard.

Thanks,

Brent

Hi Brent,

the Alt key is AKA the Option key.

Both are the same key.
