P: 25.12.0 quick slider bug

The quick access sliders (next to the tool values - see attachment) in 25.12.0 don't work (at least for me); the icon still changes to the familiar finger and horizontal arrows. This is a 'bug' affecting all palettes, toolbars etc., excepting the 'Character' and 'Paragraph' palettes for some reason.

I've tried uninstalling, removing preferences and reinstalling to no effect.

Hi @Eager_wanderlust1549

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)

C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

The recent Beta update altered the method of using the mouse's left-click to drag across the opacity percentage values (<--->). Now, a pull-down for a slider is required to modify the values, which reduces productivity for changing percentages on the fly. It would be beneficial to revert to the original feature.

Pulling on the opacity and fill in layers panel does not work any more. I need to click on an arrow and then use the slider- it does not work when puling just with click on opacity as before.
