P: Support for Canon .CR3 Camera-matching Profiles

There is currently zero support for .CR3 camera color profiles in Lightroom... especially since the newer Canon cameras use a .CR3 format... making it difficult to get work done. Only slightly surprised that this wasnt planned for beforehand since there still isnt a 64bit version of the adobe programs that i can use on the most current version of MacOS.

8 months have passed. Does adobe have any development, EOS R5 camera information? ? ?
The capture one software next door already supports nikon Camera profiles.
The original cr3 format photos, the colors are too crazy. I hope this issue can be taken seriously.

Although I developed Fuji Color's r5 Camera profiles within 3 hours.
I am not a professional colorist. Why can't the adobe professional team develop the original ecological r5 Camera profiles after 8 months???????

Adobe, the Adobe profiles for the Canon EOS R5 and R6 produce horrible color, to the point that I cannot use Lightroom and cannot post process my EOS R5 and R6 raw photos. I need a Camera Standard profile ASAP. When will the Camera Standard profiles be available? I cannot believe it has been 8+ months without support! Please don't suggest I spin my own. I have tried that and the results are not nearly as good as your Camera Standard profiles.

When will you have the Camera matching profile for the Canon EOS R5?

This camera has been on the market for a year.
It is ridiculous that it is not fully supported by Adobe software.

Does anyone know when a Lightroom camera profile for the Canon R5 and its lenses will appear?  I've always used the profiles and I need them.

I was surprised to open an R5 CR3 file in Lr and discover that the Canon Picture Styles were completely missing from the Profiles menu. The R5 was released in July 2020. It seemed odd. Then I learned that Canon still doesn't support this feature in the R, a body introduced in October 2018. Has there been any comment from Adobe on this? The lack of support seems odd given that Canon owns a large and growing percentage of new mirrorless sales. My Fuji bodies, despite their relatively small market share, are fully supported with Adobe versions of all the film simulations.

Agree... recently bought an EOS M6 Mark II. I only recently started using Lightroom (started a photography course) and my first pictures were with an old camera in CR2, difference in colors is indeed disappointing. Hope camera profiles for the various CR3 cameras will be available soon!

This is Canon's fault for not providing raw images in a standard format. Stop blaming Adobe for Canon's failure.

Lightroom 10.2 Release. There are no camera matching profiles for Canon R5.

Adobe profiles don't give accurate canon colors.

Is Adobe planning to release R5 camera matching profiles?

Support for a particular flavor of a camera’s raw file does not necessarily mean that there will be Camera Matching profiles for that camera at the time of raw file support. It is normal for Camera Matching profiles to follow raw support by one or two releases. In the case of some camera manufacturers or the event of major changes by a particular manufacturer, that time may be greatly increased.

Note: Not all cameras will ever receive a set of Camera Matching profiles. ”

Totally agree! And I would also like to see Dual Pixel Raw support, which allows focus shifting, portrait relighting and many more options. It would also be possible to extract a depth map from a Dual Pixel Raw.

When is Adobe going to release Camera Colour Profiles in PS and LR for Canon mirrorless cameras-CR3 files? Your RAW files look horrible, dead in fact. This is the only thing I want to see from Adobe right now. Don't blame or tell me to blame Canon for this. Start talking to each other. All you are accomplishing is driving myself and MANY others to Capture 1.

I agree. It is an epic fail that Adobe is not providing these for the world's largest camera maker. That the Camera Match Colour Profiles are not available for Canon's flagship cameras (R5) is simply unbelievable. They won't even confirm that they are in development for us.
