Puppet dora scene doesn´t record seperate layers of behaviour and speech

Can´t record seperate layers for the puppet dora from the presets. It just records, when i do everything at once. I tried to record speech first, then eyes etc., but it doesn´t record the layers over the speech layer. I also can´t change the background in the scene. Any suggestions?

In the panel to the right, the red dot indicates that particular behavior is "active" when recording. Turn off the other dots (quick step is to hold down CTRL while clicking on a dot to turn off all but that dot) and then only that behavior gets recorded. 

 

Some of the Puppet maker files have built in backgrounds that need to be disabled using the triggers. Or you can edit the original file to remove all built-in backgrounds.
