Adobe Character Animator running slowly

Although the program allows me to access all its functions properly, every time I select a layer or behavior it takes a very long time to load.

macOS Catalina version 10.15.7

Processor 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5 quad-core processor

Memory 40 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

I had problems with and Intel Core i5 - 6 core with 36GB RAM - with the camera tracking.  I finally went to an Intel i9 12 core 36 GB RAM and that solved the problem.

These are the minimum system requirements. I'm not sure what is required for Mac. Adobe Character Animator System Requirements
