Character Animator v4.0 to After Effects 18.0.1 Dynamic Link Broken

I've been working seemlessly with Character Animator, Illustrator and After Effects. However, I updated my CC apps and now After Effects says the dynamic link is broken. I tried importing a new Character Aniamtor scene into my After Effects and that won't work either. It brings up the scene box (where you select the scene from Character Animator that you'd like to import) but it is empty. It brings up the same empty scene box when I try to replace footage on my character animator link in AE.
