Connecting Character Animator to Wirecast

Hey there,

Was really excited to see that Character Animator is now compatible with Wirecast, so I quickly downloaded the newest version of Character Animator and installed the NDI software for Adobe Cloud. However, when I turn on streaming and ensure that NDI output is enabled I'm unable to find the output in Wirecast. I'm running everything through a single MacBook Pro.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Wirecast hasn't released NDI support yet, though I suspect that support will be coming very very soon.

    I know NewBlueFX has created an NDI plugin for Wirecast, but I haven't tested it yet.

    Your best bet is to contact Telestream directly.

    he is able to locate the NDI source in Wirecast?

    Yeah, I have a magical prerelease version. I should have mentioned that it's coming out very, very soon.

    In the meantime, NDI also works for several other applications. OBS Studio doesn't have it built in (yet) but a user found a way to do it: GitHub - Palakis/obs-ndi: Network A/V in OBS Studio
