I should add the eyes are not moving equal distances to the left and right. I think that is because the Left/Right Pupil Range and L/R Pupil have different centers. This is because the eyeball is the pupil range, but the pupil is not in the middle of the eyeball (its towards the outer edge). This results in the pupil being able to move more one direction than the other. You can create a "Left Pupil Range" layer of your own (don't use eyeball) and then hide it (as in the blog post). You can then center the pupil range on the pupil if you want the pupil to move evenly both directions.
Also the blink problem I mentioned is because the PSD file alone was not putting a Cycle Layers behavior on the blink (that would be fixed by exporting the puppet from in CH instead). So I think you can ignore my previous comment on blinking.
Thanks so much for your help! I managed to find my stray tag, the right pupil size tag had somehow managed to get on the main group holding all my layers/other groups
Also thanks for the suggestions on how to get the eye to move better I really appreciate it!!
