Question

I can't open face-capture files.

I'm trying to create my personal charcater on CA but, when I finish to record expressions and audios, an error message appears. It says: "unable to open the file" and then it shows the folders path. If I close the window and I return to the main menu, when I click on "Create your character" the system says: "unable to open the file face-capture facecap for processing". I can only click on "OK" then I have to re-do the recordings, but, when I finish, it still shows the same error message.

I've already tried to re-do the whole process but I still got the same problem...

What should I do now?

Sorry that the software is causing these issues. Can you try updating to the latest version of Character Animator, v3.2, from the Creative Cloud desktop app to see if that resolves the issue? We addressed some issues with Characterizer in v3.2, so curious if this fixes this issue. (If you don't see the update in the Creative Cloud desktop app, choose Help > Check for updates to refresh the apps list.)

If the problem still occurs with a new face capture in Characterizer, try the following:

1. Right-click above the problematic face capture in the Characterizer window's home screen, then choose Reveal in Explorer.

2. Send me a direct message with a shared link (via Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) to that .facecap file so that I can try to reproduce it on my side.

Thanks.
