Hi.
Is it possible to capture images for characterizer and export the captured images to another computer to render the puppet there?
And is it possible to import images from another camera (sd-card) to characterizer to build a puppet from these images?
(I know I can import a still image to render one cartoon image with a style from the characterizer, but I want to bulid a puppet for animation without using the web cam)
Thank you!
Christian

If you have already used a webcam to capture a face in Characterizer, then there is a "facecap" file somewhere on your computer. When you open Characterizer all the captured faces are there. Right-click one of them and select Reveal in Explorer. Then you can copy that facecap file to another computer. If you put that file in the right folder on the new computer Characterizer should see it.
If you just want to use a pre-recorded video file, you have to play the file on a virtual camera app that Characterizer can see, or on an actual camera. The video recording needs to have the facial expressions that Characterizer looks for, and then you probably have to use the manual option. With the manual option, you could also use a series of still images in place of a video, with your virtual camera.

There is an option in Characterizer to select a single image and then export a puppet using the styles. There is only one mouth, but you can always add more if you want.
