Please Help! Character Animator Crashed and Now My Project Will Not Open!!

Hello,

I found a thread from 2022 describing a similar issue which was resolved by somone on the Character Animator Team (Dan Tull, are you still out there?).

I was editing a scene in my Character Animator project and the application crashed. I restarted but cannot reopen the project. Based on the 2022 thread I located the repo.noindex folder and tried changing the .rope filename to projectdata_old.rope but it did not fix the issue. Here is what I am seeing when I try to open the project file:
