Question

Trying to create a new puppet from a single image - can someone point me in the right direction?

I feel like this must have been asked 1,000 times, but I have searched and gone through the tutorials and Help Articles, and I feel like i am spinning my wheels. Yikes! Maybe this just isn't cut out for what I was trying to do... but before I give up for now....

Is there a way to make a puppet from a single image by using a template? I was hoping I would be able to import/apply my own fixed image to one of the included puppet templates to get this rolling, then make adjustments, updates, etc from there to make it work with my image.  Maybe not....?? (Clearly all new to this.)

What is the best way to make a simple puppet from my image?  Can someone point me in the direction of a tutorial by chace? Thanks, in advance, for any help you can give!  Much appreciated!!

Making a puppet from a single image requires that you break the image down into parts and distribute those parts into layers. An example of that is shown in this video where @oksamurai takes a generative AI image and makes it into a puppet: Making Animated Characters with AI Art (Adobe Character Animator Tutorial)
