Question

"Error Enabling Sync"

Has anyone else ever gotten this message? I'm getting it on one of my registered systems and I can't figure out what the issue is. It's an ancient account (going all the way back to 2014) so I'm pretty sure it's not because of whatever modern-day limitations Adobe as imposed, but short of that I'm stumped.

Things I've tried:

  • Uninstalling and re-installing Creative Cloud
  • Pausing and un-pausing sync through Creative Cloud
  • Clearing every cache on my system including the Adobe ones
  • Restarting my system

Anybody know what I need to do to fix this?

what's your version of the cc desktop app?  can it be updated?

When I reinstalled it I downloaded the Creative Cloud setup app straight from the Adobe site. I just now manually checked for updates, but it doesn't appear any where available.

Best I can tell everything's fully up to date.

That option is missing too.

search for Creative Cloud Files + <account type> + <profile_name> + <email> + <GUID> (for example: Creative Cloud Files Personal Account email@abc.com ####@AdobeID).

default location, Mac HD/Users/<Username>/Creative Cloud Files
