Ability to download folders/multiple files at once from Creative Cloud storage

See subject - I ran into this issue when I decided to organize my creative cloud files online at assets.adobe.com but this also applies to the desktop app.

Right now, you are only able to download files one at a time (unless they are in Lightroom Photos, in which case there is a downloader you can use to get this function). Furthermore, you are not able to download folders. It doesn't make sense - sure, you can make a folder, but you can't download it...?

It's a double-edged sword of irritation, because (1), you can't download a single folder and get all your assets at once that way; and (2), you still can't select all the files for downloading once you're in the folder either.

I'm sure many others would agree that fixing this would be a great QOL update!

Hello laurenmnolan!

Yes indeed. Maybe because Adobe doesn't want to use the cloud as a general storage space but rather as a storage and sharing option for Adobe projects. For this reason, the Synced Files folder was also abolished. However, you could use ZIP files, these can be downloaded.

Hope this helps!

I am switching between work Adobe accounts and I have to either share or download each file ONE BY ONE.  Just shoot me - Biggest waste of time.

in some folders you can shift-select multiple files, but in general, you're correct.

Josh Polk @ IUPUI before the EOL you would have synced these files to a local storage folder on your computer to remove en masse. Now that the sync feature is disabled it is one-by-one. That is one reason they gave multiple notices with explicit directions to sync local prior to deactivation.

@Kevin Stohlmeyer Are you talking about the creative cloud "drive" because I did back that up a while ago.

I'm talking about my Photoshop/Fresco specific cloud files I've created since then. What if I create 100 new cloud files this year and decide to back those up locally at some point? Still one by one?

each part of cc files has its own "rules".

the best you can do is check the part of interest with a browser and see what you can do.

use a browser. there are several tabs and link to check:

https://assets.adobe.com

https://lightroom.adobe.com

https://documentcloud.adobe.com

https://spark.adobe.com
