Shared folder error "There was an error sending the invite. Please try again." for some users

We have a fairly large set of users (about 60) and have shared a folder with them. All the users have received an email invitation to view the folder and add to their files. However several of them are not able to actually view the folder or add it to their files. It just doesn't show up when they click the email invitation.

We have unshared the folder with them and attempted to reshare - now we're getting an error that reads "There was an error sending the invite. Please try again." with no other information that might help us troubleshoot.

Does anyone have any ideas for how we can fix this issue?

Hi there,

We're sorry to hear about your difficulties. Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the error you're getting? Also, could you please try to sign out of the Creative Cloud app and sign back in and then try restarting the machine.

Please ensure that other users are signed in to their Adobe ID.

Let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Tarun

Hi Tarun - Screenshot is attached. Everyone is signed in to the correct adobe ID and both I and my colleague have signed out/in of creative cloud and still are getting this error when we try to share with these two users.

Thanks for the response. When you try to share the folder and when it doesn't work, could you please do the following steps? Please try these steps if you're using the Chrome browser.

  1. Right-click in the browser window or tab and select Inspect.

  2. Click the Network tab in the panel that appears.

  3. Navigate to the URL you want to traffic.

  4. Click the download button TarunSaini_0-1652880363898.png

(Export HAR appears when you hold the pointer over it.)

  5. Name the file.

  6. Click Save & share the file with us.

Regards,

Tarun

I'd love to do this, but I don't know what "Navigate to the URL you want to traffic" means.

Hi there,

"Navigate to the URL you want to traffic" means you have to open the debugger and go to the relevant URL.

Please check this video:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m98WFEXbhIs
