ADE says loading library but won't actually open

For a few months now, every time I try to open ADE or an epub file with ADE, it comes up with 'Library Loading' but it won't actually open anything up and it just stays stuck on that forever. I've un-installed and re-installed ADE multiple times and it still won't work. I don't know what to do. It used to work fine before and now it doesn't. I would really like some help. I'm on Windows 10

Closed Digital Edition.

Rename My Digital Edition under My Documents in My Digital Edition.old.

Then Start Digital Edition again.

Its should open without eBook and you must download the eBooks again.

I followed your instructions and it worked.

HOWEVER, one day after, the same problem occured again. I just do not have the desire to load my book over and over again in my library, because it takes some time...

What else can we do?

o.O You PC-User seems not right access to the My digital Edition Folder.
