I can't erase the authorization on my computer

It says "unable to erase authorization. please try again later".  I've tried this numerous times on different days, etc., but it still won't let me.  And I can't get any of my library ebooks to appear in the program.  Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing seems to work.
