Password incorrect, email address no longer existing

My ADE application accplication is connected to the Adobe account I had years ago. I do not remember the password. I cannot deauthorize my computer and reauthorize it, which I need to do, as I ported my data over from my old MacBook Pro (running Catalina) to a new one (running Ventura). Without this, I cannot access acsm files on my Kobo.

All I need  is a clean version of ADE, so that I can uave it using my real read Adobe account email, but I can't seem to get there. 

A similar post title has the reply "Never mind I sorted it out" which is not very helpful.
