Adobe creative cloud is missing or damaged - HELP

I recently have bought a second hand macbook, and after 2 weeks of using it I started getting the notification saying 'Adobe creative cloud is missing or damaged' - i have pressed repair and it has gone though that processes and 'repaired' itself, only to have the same problem the next day. I have uninstalled and reinstsalled creative cloud, and the problem has persisted, and i have ran the Adobe CC cleaner tool, and STILL the problem persists. It makes my laptop run really slow, sometimes taking over an hour to turn on, and when there is a problem with creative cloud i can't do anything on my laptop, it always freezes and my apps don't work... Each action I try to do can take at least 20 minutes. Soon after I have 'repaired' creative cloud it runs smoothly for a day or two before the problem comes back. Any help will be really appreciated!!!!!

Meticulously already done all that, including more esoteric solutions. Ended up having to factory reset my pc as well, but at the least now it works.

Have the same problem. Have done everything, including running in safe mode (which I am currently running, as it were). Still the same problem, and from what I gather, none of the solutions works. Dear Adobe, fix it, or give my freaking money back. Simple, I am paying for a service, and this service is not working.

meticulously follow each step in message 1.

if that fails, using a browser that allows popups and cookies,  contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'chat', http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-ccm.html

or contact the Adobe Twitter team at @AdobeCare

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 3 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

Hello! Thank you very much for taking the time to reply and send me all the links. I am trying to do them now, but when I am doing the Adobe Clean up tool, it will not clean up the fix host file. when i try, it just says '0' entries were fixed. Is this a problem or can I continue? Thank you again.

you can continue.  that just indicates there weren't any entries that needed fixing.
