CC downloader hangs at 41% every time

I am trying to download a trial of Illustrator CC but the download hangs at exactly 41% every time. This time (the fourth time) I've left it running for 6 hours and it still hasn't budged past 41%. I don't receive an error -- it just sits there, at 41%. I don't know what's wrong. I successfully installed Photoshop CC before.

I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling CC to no avail. My internet connection is fine -- I've been downloading other things without problems all day. Can someone please suggest a solution? I've found threads that have posed similar problems but no one seems to have fixed it.

I generally love Adobe's products, but I've never been more frustrated than I am now with Creative Cloud.

Hello, Jen,  I have seen many permissions issues on10.9

Can you try to check the permissions of user/library/application support/adobe and other sub folders?

Also, did you try to use the creative cloud cleaner tool?

I'm having the same problem today. I'm trying to install previous versions of Premier pro (CC & CS6), using the Creative Cloud application manager. Running on Mac OS 10.10.1

It keeps freezing at 41%
