CS3 installs in the wrong language

The serial number which installed correctly originally, after getting my new serial number and downloading the English installer, installed in some foreign language. What would cause this?

    Kevinm26931851 what operating system are you installing Creative Suite 3 on?  What is the current language setting for the operating system?  Finally, was CS3 installed on the computer previously?
