I just purchased a new MacBook Pro 2015 model.  I backed up from my last laptop from Timemachine.  I am using OS X El Capita version 10.11.6.  I cannot get my Adobe programs (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Bridge) to open.  I get error 150:30.  I tried this link with no luck (screenshot below):    https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1714695

I have the product code.  How do I update this???

Error 150:30 License fix https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/error-licensing-stopped-mac-os.html MAY help

Tell everyone you know who owns a Mac, including Apple employees... Mac Migration and Time Machine DO NOT WORK properly with Adobe program activations due to hidden registration files that are not included when Migration or Time Machine make their copies

If the above link doesn't help, you may not get that old CS4 to work at all

Adobe did not change CS4 to make it stop working... Apple changed their operating system and THAT is why your CS4 won't work, not because of anything Adobe did

CS6 and earlier programs have not been tested and will not be updated for Mac El Capitan/Sierra

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems

-you may get CS6 and earlier programs to install and run, or you may not (some do, some don't)

    -Java https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/dreamweaver-java-se-6-runtime.html may help

Install CS5 on Mac 10.11 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2003455 may help (also for other than CS5)

-also a TEMPORARY security change https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2039319

How do I properly uninstall cs4? Is it simply deleting the application?

Navigate to Applications> Utilities > Adobe Installers.

Open Adobe Installers folder and locate CS 4 Uninstaller file .

Or you may also try Adobe Cleaner tool.

    http://download.macromedia.com/SupportTools/Cleaner/mac/AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.dmg

If you still continue to get same error , we will need to perform clean manual removal of Adobe related folders from all locations.

Try with normal uninstallation process and update us the result .
