Hi there! I've installed the trial version of adobe creative cloud on PC, but no longer want the program since I don't use it. I'm wondering if there's a quick and simple way to deactivate and/or delete my account? (since I haven't been able to find that information) thank you in advance!
Your best bet is to Contact Customer Care
Good luck!

The 30 day trial will get suspended on its own after 30 days , however the Adobe ID remains, in case you plan to buy or use any other trial, you can use the Adobe Id made out of your Email.

So there is no way to delete the account? That would be against european Privacy laws.

This is crazy that there is no way to delete your account, but as with most things Adobe, they probably had you agree to it in their extensive terms of service without you realizing

Hi Brz0,
As you mentioned that you would like to completely delete your account, kindly Contact Customer Care for the same.
They will be able to permanently delete your details from Adobe records.
Hope that helps!
Thanks

Is there a "Delete Account" button that allows the user to delete and close their account from the settings? By doing it themselves and not having to deal with customer service?
Most if not every company provides this ability, paid service or not.

Adobe's justification in its privacy policy is that its a paid subscription service... but there is many paid subscription services that allow you to cancel your account yourself. Probably all of them. It's a shady move on Adobe's part.

Hi Justin,
I am afraid that we don't have the delete account functionality within the customer's account on Adobe and the only way to close down the account would be by contacting the support.
But I will take your request as a feedback and pass it onto the concerned team.
Additionally, you could also submit the request here.
Regards,
Sheena

Hi Sheena,
I have tried contacting customer support to close my Adobe account multiple times but every time i do, the support officer closes the chat on me before anything gets done. I'm not sure why but I'm getting very tired of this and just want my account closed immediately and completely.

Aside from things like Netflix and magazine subscriptions, you can't just delete an account yourself from something like Adobe or your Internet or cable provider.
Adobe is a professional service just like any big service provider, and unlike Tumblr or Facebook, this isn't a blogging site, and when you delete an account on Facebook it never gets deleted whereas it does with Tumblr.
Please use some common sense and logic before spilling all this whine on the forums.

I think all frustrated customers that want his or her account deleted should Tweet and Instagram, Facebook and Google as many people as possible about the unethical practices of Adobe with not Deleting personal accounts: Why are they keeping records of our account if we want the account to be deleted. We need to protest against this unjust and unethical practice of Adobe. It is completely wrong.

This is ridiculous. The fact that we can't close our accounts manually and also trying to reach customer support to do it either takes forever or just doesn't happen is very poor customer service. It is very concerning considering it's a very well established service and it would be like if apple didn't let you delete and itunes account or something.

donovanc70354394,
even Apple doesn't let you delete your own Account. It is for safety and legal reasons.

If you don't want to deal with phone holds, just log into your account and do the following:
1. Cancel any existing subscriptions.
2. Open a case to support to close your account.
