I am unable to install my Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 software. My Customer identification number registered with Adobe is 217852537. During installation, after downloading the installation file using the registration code provided by Adobe I get the message "The following applications are using files that need to be updated by this setup. Close these applications and click Retry to continue :ElementsAutoAnalyser.exe" The problem is that there are not other applications running (of any kind), so there is nothing to close and pressing Retry results in the same message.

    Hi DS.Civil,

Please check in Task Manager(Win)/Activity Monitor(Mac) for the process and end or quit it.

    Hope this helps.

Please let me know in case any problem.
