Hello!

The company I work for purchased Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5. I have one license on my computer. The other license is on a computer that we no longer have. Is it possible to retrieve the other license?

Adobe support will no longer reset an activation count... if you can't DE-activate (lost or crashed computer) and you are receiving an activation 'used up' message (I can't remember the exact message) there is no solution

The person bought CS5 and has a right to use it for as long as s/he deems fit. Obviously doesn't want a subscription. If Adobe allowed buying products again rather than renting products, then you might not be getting so many people wanting help with the software they actually bought.

@UsernamePerson123,

You didn't buy the software. Adobe owns the software.

You purchased a limited to license to use the product for however long your computer can support it and Adobe can make it available. That's typically 3-5 years for most products.

CS never came with a "forever license."  Sorry.
