I'm having a problem installing the Muse update. I get the error:

Exit Code: 7

Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DF024 ...

-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------

- 0 fatal error(s), 1 error(s)

----------- Payload: Adobe Muse CC 2014 2014.3.0.1176 {4FC5F06E-31E5-4C22-9449-CB41B62D1897} -----------

ERROR: DF024: Unable to preserve original file at "/Applications/Adobe Muse CC 2014/Adobe Muse CC 2014.app/Contents/Frameworks/adbeape.framework/adbeape" (Seq 10)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've tried (from a discussion on color profiles error DF024) renaming the adbeape.framework folder. I then get a slew of error messages. Any suggestions?

Correct answer JimHindsKC

JimHindsKC has the uninstaller been removed from Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers?  Did you run the uninstaller previously?  Were you able to locate the OPM.db file successfully?

I did not remove the uninstaller, but it is not in the Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. There is an uninstaller alias in the Muse program folder, but it points to nothing . . .

I tried removing the OPM.db file and reinstalling the Muse update. It still fails with the same error message.

Instead of uninstalling all CC, running cleaner, reinstalling all CC, and finding and reinstalling all my third-party Photoshop extensions—using most of my day, I believe I will live with Muse CC2014.2 and update reminder.

Thanks for all your help, anyway

JimHindsKC it looks like the update is facing difficulties applying the update to the currently installed package.  Have you utilized the steps listed in CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed to resolve the current update failure?

I am trying to update to Muse CC2014.3 from currently installed CC2014.2. The CC desktop installation seems to be working correctly. There is no uninstaller for Muse. I was hoping to avoid deleting all the other CC apps and running CC cleaner.
