Question

I've installed Premiere Pro, but can't start the program.

I have a subscription to creative cloud, and I've installed Premiere Pro CS6 but the app isn't clickable so therefore I can't even open the program.

How do I troubleshoot this to get the program to work?

I am having the same problem

Windows 8.1 32 bit

I got creative cloud and downloaded it there, and it says it downloads

I look for the application on my PC but I can't find it.

Premiere Pro has been 64bit ONLY since version CS5

The download and install message is an ERROR... it did not really install, because it MAY NOT install

MINIMUM for After Effects and Premiere Pro http://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html

Adobe's only current video editing  program for a 32bit computer is Premiere Elements

I have the same problem and have a 64 Bit system.  I run all my CC 2015 apps fine but can't find the PP CS6 on my system even though it says it's installed.  This is my processor, 3 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon E5.  A 64Bit system

If both 32 bit and 64 bit systems are having a problem with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 not completely installed into their computers, then what is the MAIN problem?

Mine is Windows 10 Pro, 32bit, 4GB RAM

I could install Premiere Pro but cannot start it. Any ideas?

Any help is appreciated.

Premiere Pro did not REALLY install, and it will NOT run on a 32bit operating system

So, I found a possible reason here:

Not all apps displayed for download | Creative Cloud desktop app

It seems Premiere Pro does not work on 32 bit systems.

The difference in my case is that Premiere Pro was seemingly able to be installed. (The installation download a large file)

Nobody can tell you anything. You have not provided any system info or other useful technical details. What does "isn't clickable" even mean? That is at best vague, but for the most part simply useless.

Thanks for your consideration. I apologize for being so vague. I'll try again.

After installing the creative cloud desktop app on my computer,

Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pack 1 32 bit

AMD Phenom II X6 3.20 GHz

8 GB RAM

I click on the little creative cloud icon at the bottom,

When the popup of my apps appears, I see Premiere Pro has been installed.

I can click (the hand icon appears in place of the regular pointer arrow) on the Illustrator CC icon and the program starts and I can create something.

If I hover over the Premiere Pro CS6 icon, My pointer does not change into the hand icon (which means something underneath is clickable) and I am not able to start the program.

I though there may have been a problem in the installation so I tried uninstalling all apps, then uninstalling the creative cloud desktop app, and just reinstalling Premiere Pro. This did not work. Then I installed Illustrator so see if any other programs would work.

My next step it to try re-installing my operating system.

Thanks for considering and reading this post!
