After having downloaded the CS5 onto my MacBook, I tried installing it on MacBook unsuccessfully.

The message kept prompting me that it was not one of the approved apps.

Please assist/advice on how i could go about installing CS5 on MacBook.

Thanks.

Louisa

Lilcoffeebean what is the exact error message you receive when trying to install Creative Suite 5?

    Hi Jeff,

The message says: "Install" can't be opened becuase it is from an unidentified developer.

    The brief below that is:

Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers.

A further question is, would I be able to use the product key/serial number (Adobe Web Premium) which I've purchased previously for this installation on MacBook?

Lilcoffeebean this is due to a security feature added to Mac OS 10.8.  You can find more details at Error "has not been signed by a recognized distributor" | Launch Adobe applications | Mac OS - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/error-signed-distributor-mac-os.html.
