Installer failed to initalize?

So, I've tried downloading 2 different applications from Adobe today, and I've gotten the same notification from the installer:

"We've encountered the following issues

Installer failed to initalize. This could be due to a missing file. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem."

So I downloaded the software like they suggested and it worked fine, and said that it detected no issues; yet it still will not allow me to download anything. Any suggestions I could do to fix this issue, or know what's wrong?

Correct answer kglad

restart your computer and retry.

sign out and then back in to your cc app, if you're a cc subscriber.

use a different browser or clear the adobe.com cookies from your browser.

if those all fail, run the cleaner http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html, restart your computer and retry installing.
