Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error

Whenever I try to run Creative Cloud or any Creative Cloud apps that are included with my student account, I get a weird error that I've had no luck solving. This is the error message:

Assertion Failed!

Program:

..._modules\node-vulcanjs\build\Release\VulcanJS.node

File: ..\src\vulcanadapter.cc

Line: 460

Expression: vulcan_

For information on how your program can cause an assertion

failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on asserts

(Press Retry to debug the application - JIT must be enabled)

Also, sometimes I get a message that says:

Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem. However, it is missing

or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of the Creative Cloud from

Quit                                                         Repair

I've checked a bunch of other threads, but none of the solutions have worked for me. Thanks!

Thank you for your quick response!

It turns out that the issue was most likely having unactivated and outdated Windows 10 on my new computer. Once I plugged in my license key and updated to the newest version, everything worked perfectly. It seems like a necessary file for Creative Cloud apps was missing due to the fact that my OS was outdated or unactivated.
