Question

Need a Serial Number for PhotoShop Elements

I purchased PhotoShop Elements 11 in December of 2012 for my wife’s Christmas present. Right after her receiving it and before installing the software we had a room remodel and stored the PhotoShop for safe keeping. However, we never found the box until last year. When I tried to install the product I was asked for a serial number. The only number I had was a redemption code from Best Buy which is were I purchased the PhotoShop. I went to there customer help desk and they couldn’t help me.

I have the sales receipt and all the packaging for the PhotoShop. The Best Buy activation code is only 19 digits long and I have no idea where to go to enter this number.

Any help would be great.

Thanks, Steve

    Hello Steve,

to my knowledge if you purchased your product from these firms like Amazon, you "only" get a redemption-code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe. Please have a look at https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-your-serial-number.html >>> (Start here: Prepaid card, product box, reseller)

The following part, so I just see at least, ceased to exist on my Adobe website, everything takes place in the link from above. I leave it as an info yet, it might still fit for you. For this purpose, please click your way through to your Adobe Store and find the button "Get Serial Number". Fill in the form and after a while you will get the real serial number.

    Thanks Hans,

I tried that link and was asked to enter a 24 digit redemption code. Only problem is that the code Best Buy gave me has only 19 digits. I know this is 3 years late but I never thought that software had such a short shelf life.

Again, thank you for your time.

    Steve.
