Recent update for CC from 2019 programs to 2020

Why did Adobe CC update [almost] everything from [Program Name] 2019 to [Program Name] 2020 but NOT uninstall the 2019 versions?

Any particular logic behind this?

In previous years, Adobe automatically removed old versions without asking users and it caused total chaos.  Everyone was unhappy! Adobe listened and changed the default to leave old versions alone.

I keep older versions until I'm certain I won't need them again, especially now that we can no longer get legacy versions from our Desktop App.  You can manually uninstall your old programs and run the CC Cleaner Tool.

It auto-updated...but I found the "Remove older versions" check-box in the new CC interface.

Uninstalling previous versions is an option you check or uncheck when updating.
