I've just formatted my laptop and want to re-install my Student & Teacher edition of Lightroom. Do I use my original coupon code to get a new serial number?

    As far as I know, a redemption code may only be used once... did you not write your serial number down on a piece of paper to put in a file folder?

    No, you need to use the original serial number that you should already have.  There should be nothing to keep you from reinstalling the software and reusing the serial number.

    If this is from the age of CS2 then you probably won't have any luck using the serial number you had anyways.  Adobe discontinued the activation server for CS2, but they provide special versions of applications that you can download and activate using their special codes that they provide.  I don't know if Lightroom is included in the offerings as I do not see it in the applications they list...

    No I didn't write it down...lesson learned! (-.-) I presume the serial number would have been emailed to me, but don't seem to have that either. Nothing in my Registered Products list, which is strange as I've definitely registered my Photoshop, although it was a long time ago (CS2!). Is there a way to generate a new serial number, or use my coupon code to track the old one?
