This means there is some parameter which is affecting the launch of Creative Cloud app .

In this case , it is necessary to check with log files.

You may contact Adobe Support and check once ,.

Clicking on the app icon, the Creative Cloud appears to open but...it just doesn't.

Hard to explain, really.  It's as if somewhere in the first few lines of code, it ceases to exist.

To this end, I have downloaded the most current version of Creative Cloud Installer  - 3.1.3.121

Hey Brucgovn -

Yeah, a couple times.  And I also went into the /Library and ~/Library files and made sure all the permissions were read-write.

Does the Creative Cloud icon appears on the menu bar for seconds and disappear?

Bruce -

Yeah...I wouldn't call it "seconds" - more like "half-second."  It flickers...and is grayed.

brugovn -

Ok..tried your solution but on my OS there is no "Input Managers".  Only an "Input Methods" folder.  (weird.)

And..that folder was empty.

Yes I did.

But, I may have found the issue.  In Users & Groups, I right-click on my Admin Account to bring up the "Advanced Options" feature and have discovered that my Account name is different than my "Full Name"...but when I try to update permissions, I only see my "Full Name" and it's grayed out.

Is this a possible source of trouble?

brucgovn -

Thank you for the help.

"Safe Boot" ended up doing the trick - and I was able to update all of my CC apps.

However, going back to normal, it's back to "normal" in that I can use CC.   This must get fixed; any clue as to what's wrong?
