I am hoping someone can help me.  I have CS6 which is basically all I need for my what I do with my photos.  I had it installed on my old computer and am unable to transfer it to my new one since it states that it is already in use on two computers.  I deactivated it on my old but still getting the error message.   There is any work around to activate it on my new computer.  I have never had this issue before when upgrading computers.

I even tried to go back and open it on my old computer to make sure it was deactivated and it is now stating that  the license on it is no good and already in use by two computers.

you have to use a computer with an activation to restore an activation.  ie, deactivate an older install/activation.

i know you said you did that, but that obviously failed or you wouldn't have the stated problem.

there are a few common issues that could have caused your deactivation attempt to fail; one , your os wasn't updated, two, your default browser wasn't updated, three, your default browser wasn't adobe-friendly (eg, opera).

at this point you have to do the updates on the old computer, reactivate on the old computer and then deactivate on the old computer.

HI -  My computer was update to date with the latest windows 10 versions.  I deactivated and then unistalled - I ever tried to go back and reinstate CS6 on that computer but it is now telling me that I have no available licenses So I can't deactivate it on it.   I have a another windows 11 machine with CS6 working but don't want to deactivate it on it in case it messes up.

what about your default browser on the old computer?
