UPDATE FAILED: UNABLE TO MOVE THE FILE.

Question

I tried to update my apps and they fail to update. I get an error message:

There was a problem updating Premeier Pro CC.

For more information see the specific error below.

Update Failed. Unable to move the file. Rename the file and then try again. (For more information)

Clicked on For More Information and it open a page with this message:

Im using macOS High Sierra

Version 10.13.3

Note: My PS updated fine. But after that all the other apps like AE, AI and Pr all have failed updates. I looked up the troubleshoot for the error Codes but the list doest offer any solution suggestions.

Any advice / help?

I am also having this issue with Media Encoder as well as Premiere Pro CC, others updated fine.

Short Story (the fix for me): I uninstalled (leaving preferences) and then reinstalled. All worked fine.

Long story: For both apps, the auto update tried to move to a directory (that it has to create) within the font directory - surely this is not correct?
