Why do I need to uninstall and reinstall my CS6 that I downloaded from Adobe in 2013 now?

Sorry, I don't understand why Adobe is asking this of me. My CS6 was bought from the Adobe site and it is on my purchase history. Can someone explain what the issue is? And how to make the popups stop, please?

I've moved this from the poorly named Community Help forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Get Started forum so that proper help can be offered.

The popup is saying my CS6 products are not 'genuine', but they are, as they were bought from the Adobe site, I sent my purchase history to them to prove all is legal, but the popups continue. They want me to reinstall my CS6...but why??? No one can say...

Your CS licensing information has probably become corrupted.  That's why you need to perform a clean re-installation after removing old Adobe files from your system with the Adobe Cleaner Tool below.

Or you can buy a Creative Cloud subscription which doesn't use serial numbers.  Of course, a CC plan has lots of other advantages, too, like ongoing product support and free upgrades for paid plan members.

===========

Beware of fake Adobe reps offering to sell Creative Suite products.  It's a scam.  Legacy Creative Suite is not legally available from any vendor, retailer or country.

Uninstall CS6 and then use the Adobe Cleaner Tool:

Then reinstall.
