I'm on Windows 10 and have just installed Xd but it's not installed in my Program files / Adobe folder, and when I place a search it appears in my windows menu where it's not by default. So I always have to search for it. It's not possible to locate the program icon in my Windows file browser so I can't make a shortcut to desktop. It's like Xd has hidden itself somewhere on my machine but yet its "nowhere" to be found in the file structure on my drive. What's up?
can you open it via your cc desktop app?

Yes, I can open it via Apps in the CC installer. But why can't I locate a desktop shortcut? Every other app I have installed are available as shortcuts when I looked them up in my Windows file browser, but not Xd. I've always found the CC installer to be somewhat unstable, so I always open my apps on my desktop with shortcut icons. They are always available.

are you using 'experience design' in your search or 'xd'?

I use both words / expressions. Sorry, I don't have the time to read trough miles of technical text like that. I hope Adobe don't expect people in general to plough that field. No offense to you however, it's not your personal fault that Adobe has left their paying customers for dry.
