I have been trying to work out why Adobe Acrobat isn't updating from our internal update folder and have come to the conclusion that its because the files in the Acrobat folder are created without the correct permissions. I have repaired the permissions, so it now works for me. Is this likely to be fixed or do I need to fix the permissions after each update sync?
We might need to dig deep into this issue if this is happening with only Acrobat folders. I would request you create a support ticket from the admin console and share the screenshot and AUSST logs from the server so that we can forward it to the Acrobat team for further investigation.
@default3rl6gf6f70le As per my knowledge, all the Adobe update folders should have read/write permission so that the server can download the updates and the client machine can get those updates.

Yes, I gathered that, this was a fresh download on a new server so the folder structure was created by the tool, most of the folders are fine but some of the Acrobat related ones don't have the correct permissions applied. I have just confirmed that new updates are also downloaded with the wrong permissions for the new files even though the folders are now correct, with inheritance enabled.

I have created the ticket and it has been passed on to the development team as a bug. In the meantime I have my weekly download task set to repair permission on the folder.
